Although smoking is a widespread practice, it is still not acceptable in many situations. If you have been smoking for some time, you might have noticed sidelong glances or disapproving frowns after lighting up. Nicotine Levels and Recommendations
White Cloud Cirrus have compiled a list of recommendations based on a person’s smoking habits and their corresponding needs in nicotine content.
The Double Extra Strength (XX) is recommended for very heavy smokers, those who smoke 2.5 or more packs a day, of full strength or non-filtered cigarettes. These e-cigarettes have a 3.6% nicotine content and gives a very harsh throat hit.
The Extra Strength (X) is recommended for heavy smokers, those who smoke from 1 to 2 packs per day, of full strength filtered cigarettes. These have a 2.4% nicotine content that provides a stout throat hit.
The Full Strength (F) is recommended for average smokers, those who smoke up to 1 pack per day, of medium or light cigarettes. These moderately stout e-cigarettes contain 1.6% of nicotine.
The Light Strength (L) is recommended for light smokers, those who smoke ½ or less a day, of light or slim cigarettes. These e-cigarettes provides a mild throat hit because of their 1.1% nicotine content.
The Ultra Light Strength (UL) is recommended for occasional or casual smokers (1 pack per week or less). Smokers will experience a barely perceptible throat hit with its 0.6% nicotine.

I’m a big fan of White Cloud! Quit smoking a year and a half ago the day I got my Cirrus II starter pack. I began with the extra strength cartridges, but they were a bit much for me, so I soon went with full strength, and they are just right for my use. I prefer the regular flavor best, but occasionally use the espresso flavored cartridges. Got a Cirrus 3X starter pack a few weeks ago and really like them as well plus they last longer for a slight increase in size. Both offer really good vapor and the battery life is as advertised. In summary, you cant go wrong with White Cloud, their customer service and warranty claims are no hassle positive experiences, and you get tons of great tasting vapor. Also, if you buy 5 packs of cartridges you get 1 pack free, so thats an even bigger savings. I usually order 10 packs at a time and get 12 back, all you have to do is tell them what strength and flavor you want for the free ones in the online order comment box. IMHO, White CLoud is definitely the best and well worth the extra cost versus inferior cheaper brands.
What can I say… I smoke Marlboro medium 100s, tried the regular extra strength cartridges with Cirrus 3x, and I can’t distinguish the taste and effect from a real cigarette of a different brand than my normal med 100s. Absolutely no smell.
Numerous friends tried my 3x – all had the same response as me and asked me to write down the full details.
Different people have different withdrawal symptoms – a small percentage can start and quit at will – I am at the opposite end of the spectrum and am in severe pain for days even with nicotine substitutes. For the 1st day I noticed minor withdrawal, but not the typical nicotine withdrawal – I suspect there is some effect from the other nasty stuff in real tobacco.
After the 1st day I can go back and forth between White Cloud 3x and regular cigarettes at will – in fact 1/2 way thru a real cigarette I want to snuff the nasty thing out – as soon as my next cartridge order arrives, I am off of real cigarettes for good.
Regular flavor is the closest to real cigarettes, menthol is close but lacks the hint of tobacco taste, strawberry is the best tasting, the other flavors I found nasty – I recommend regular and menthol in extra strength if you are just changing from real cigarettes, can try different flavors and strengths later with their variety packs.
Hint – don’t immediately toss used cartridges – try them with a freshly charged battery – I have found there is still about 10% left in the cartridge – they probably need to adjust the voltage level that signals the LED to blink.
Without following this hint, I found regular extra strength lasted as long as 2 packs of Marlboro Medium 100s. Except for the hint, the battery outlasts the cartridge.
The next closest I have found to a real cigarette is the oral spray which hits like smoking a full cigarette within seconds… and is currently not available in the US.
E-cigarettes won’t kick the nicotine habit which has its own risks, but it will get you away from the more severe cancer risks of real tobacco. If the federal and local governments really want to end tobacco risks, they will quit trying to outlaw and tax these and begin promoting their use.
